Why have created this free computer help and advice website.
The main reason is because I have found that many of the other so called free computer help websites do in actual fact offer very little or no help with your computer problems what so ever.

Most of these so called free computer help sites just want you to sign up to their mailing list so they can bombard you with crap emails about thing they actually sell.

Some of the other free computer help sites are in fact just pages full of advertising for either other website that have nothing to do with free online computer help or sites that offer computer help but at a price.

The other thing about a lot of these free computer help sites is if they actually give any help it is too technical for the average computer user.

The point here is if you can understand most of the stuff on these sites means you do not need the sites help anyway.

I have found most of these sites just offer forums which you have to sign up to.

How to format a hard drive.

As you may or may not know this is a free computer help and advice site.
I have just loaded a few pages about how to format a hard drive.
So far I have loaded how to format a new hard drive using a windows 98 boot disk.
I have also put on a page on how to format an existing hard disk with a windows 98 boot disk.
I have shown you how to delete partitions on your hard drive and how to create partitions on your hard drive ready for you to format the hard disk.
I will soon be putting on how to format a hard drive using windows XP disk.

Spam emails are quickly becoming a major problem to all us internet users
If you have an Email address then sooner or later you will start getting spam emails.
Spam emails in their own right are not really a problem.
Some spam emails are just advertising some product or service.
These are annoying yes but dangerous no.
The problem with spam emails is most or at least some contain viruses

Spam emails are created and delivered automatically by machines designed to trawl through the internet, find your email address and then send you the spam emails.
The problem with these robots as they are called is that once your email address is discovered there is really no escape from the constant spam emails they will send you.

What are popups.
Popups are those anoying little windows that pop up on your computer screen when you go on certain websites
What is wrong with popups and why do you want to stop popups i hear you asking.(well i didnt hear you i just made that bit up)
First of all popups are bloody anoying. some sites have more popups than actual content.
Some sites have so many popups that the only thing you can do to exit the site is shut your computer down.

Some popups also contain viruses and spyware and you dont want any viruses or spyware on your computer.
The problem with popups is that you get no warning that they are about to popup on your screen.
So if the popup does contains a virus or some form of spyware then you have no protection against it so how do you stop popups on your computer
